Some may say the forest sleeps at night; when the silence is nearly deafening and all birds but the great owl hush their songs while the golden eyes of predators burn through to souls of the innocently sleeping prey.
The same sounds which were comforting and curious during the bright portion of the day now sounded devious and taunting; like the calls of hungry demons through the bush. Perhaps it was the fear of the unknown, humans don't like what they can't see.

Perhaps it was the feeling of vulnerability, unable to defend yourself against, or even see what lurked in the consuming darkness before it was to late.

Or maybe, perhaps, fear was simply the only capable word to describe the most delightful feeling of instinct taking over the sane mind, and rendering it useless against the will to fight or flee. . .


COME OUT WITH ME BENEATH THE STARS

So on this night, let nature grace us to return to who we truly are, in the wild, where we once lived.

They have appeared in the folklore of cultures all over the world ... created by magic, curses, satanic rituals, infectious bites, the eating of human flesh, spiritual channeling, lunar metamorphosis...
Their names have been whispered throughout history when children and young women have gone missing, or bodies have been found torn apart in the woods; they have been hunted down by angry mobs, put on trial, hanged for murder.

Every culture has a name for them, stories of their ferocious acts or nobility.

They are known as the loup-garou.
